New owner TL-S

Hi everyone,

I have been reading around this forum for some time, but have never registered. Love all the great info provided here, its been a great help. After months of searching for the right TL-S. I am a soon to be owner of a Blk/Blk 08 TL-S 6 speed. It is being shipped to me and should be here in Houston by next week I currently have a 05 TSX and a 09 TL (wifes car). Always loved the 3rd gen body style though. My previous car was a 2001 Acura Integra Type R (loved this car). Look forward to hearing from everyone on any future tips or questions I may have.

Cheers!

Mike

Welcome mike!

I am super jelly of your TL-S 6MT!
I have a base 6MT.

We have a pretty active Houston crew. We try to get together every month or so.

Check the Houston regional section to be on the up and up.

Thanks Murph! Ill definitely post pics. Gotta get that tint installed ASAP. Great car by the way, love the look. Nice and clean. What did you use for the drop? Im planning on doing mostly aesthetic mods. Nothing too fancy, just want it clean looking. Maybe some bolt ons.

Thanks Justn, been searching for quite some time for the right one. I was thinking of settling for an auto since they were so hard to find. Especially here in Houston with decent mileage. Glad I waited for exactly what I wanted. I definitely will try and meet up with the crew.

Thanks guys! Not sure why they are so rare. My other choice was white/blk 6MT, but that was even harder. Ill definitely post some pics when it arrives.

Legend,
Yeah that would be some nice pics. Ill hit you up as soon as it comes in and I get it cleaned up

Hey guys, so I got the car in yesterday. Havent gotten a chance to drive it much yet, other than taking it home from the shopping center I meet the transport company at. I didnt have the paper plates, so I had to call them this morning and have them mail it overnight. Have to get it inspected this weekend and cleaned up. It was pretty dirty when it arrived. Wont have much time this weekend to test it out as I have some work to do all weekend. Ill keep you guys posted and take some shots soon.

Hey Legend,
Probably wasnt me as I dont even have the paper tags yet ;( Wanted to take it for a spin but decided to wait till I get the plates in so I can get it inspected.

Htown, have you noticed we havent had a single cloud in two days.
like abnormally blue skies. usually, theres a puff of cloud here and there, but nope. your pictures confirm it.

Good looking TL.
I laid a proposition on the table for you in the UA7 squad thread.
