Welcome to the board. You had joined just in time before the group buy for the A-Spec kit expires. Click on the link in my signature to be transferred to the page, add yourself to the list, and send PayPal info to AckTL05.

And yes, that is CBP.

Congrats, nice TL! Based on the picture, it looks like a dealership near Convoy, possibly Siry on Clairemont? We just had a meet this past Saturday in Eastlake Chula Vista. Check out the Regions>California>SoCal>San Diego Meets and Events Part Tres, to see what's going on in the 619.

I think CBP base model aspec kits are no longer available. I think the Type S aspec is still available. (Someone correct me if I'm wrong! Thanks! )

some like it, others think that it's bulky and "darth vader"-y. I can't speak for everyone when it comes down to judging the Type S aspec. I chose not to put one on because I heard that putting the aspec means that I can't have my splash guards. Again, it's personal preference. You should check out some of the other threads for pictures and judge for yourself!

The type-s aspec is different, but not ugly too me. It's more aggressive and really makes the front pop. I think it will look sick on your TL!

For your OEM Visors contact AckTL05. I know he can do better than $170, and his price usually includes shipping cost too.

if you're going for max performance I would get lightweight wheels. The Forgestars for sale are lightweight but they're bigger and wider than the type-s wheels so the only benefit you will get from them is the better moment of inertia and a wider track (=more dry traction). If you're going for looks you should definitely get bigger are more aggressive wheels *ahem*likemyForgestars*ahem*

i love the type-s in cbp btw. It's a good rare look

^^^3x3 is you drain 3 quart ATF and fill with 3 quart then drive around and drain that 3 quart out, repeat that step three times. Member here is recommend with redline racing ATF because it is better quality than factory. Here is the link of the ATF service. https://acurazine.com/forums/3g-tl-2004-2008-93/c-026-diy-changing-atf-pics-745892/

Ok before I attempt this 3x3 or should i just do a 1x3 over a month period pretty sure it's never been changed what you guys recommend? I was reading and I see people have said to change the o ring and filter while I'm doing this? When should i do it after the first fill or when im all done with the 3rd? Also change out the 3rd 4th gear pressure switch? Again same question when after the first or when Im all done. I'm thinking the redline type f? Is this all correct thanks a million

also, for engine oil i use mobile 1 5w-30 extended performance in so cal. You can also use the factory 5w-20 if you don't rev like crazy and bring up engine temps so high. most engine oils are decent nowadays, just make sure you change oil regularly. I usually change mine when the MID hits 5% lol

Thanks for the info guys
Ordered my progress rsb also a skunk2 set magnetic drain plug oil and trans was this a waste of money lol also got filters from amazon pureone and knn went to walmart got mobile 1 5w20 where should I look for the amsoil or redline ATF and still no word from ack for the oem visors so amazon them? Aspec and led are next still clueless about which led to get but I will keep on searching

I tried to pm ihc but he's box is full
All type f? Or should I mix d4 or lightweight racing with my redline. And do I need to change the o ring or trains filter or these are unneccessary also only the 3rd 4th gear pressure switch should be changed correct? Thanks again 2007 tl-s

Can some one clarify

Are you saying Acura isn't making these parts anymore?

I thought all vehicles had to have parts available 10 years after its birth date.
