Hello everyone, I am planning to switch cars..probably to TL (3rd generation) from 1.6 EL..so I am wondering how much would it cost me to maintain a 3rd generation TL..on a regular basis..let's say I get a used 2006 TL with 90K mileage and let's say there are no major issues with the car..the reason I ask this question is because I have heard TLs are expensive to maintain etc. any help would be appreciated!

Welcome to Acurazine. I'd say the TL is relatively inexpensive to keep up. Oil changes every 10K miles, first tune up at 110K miles. Timing belt/water pump at 105K miles. That can be a bit expensive. But overall, I think the TL is easy and fairly cheap to maintain.

Owace, welcome to the neighborhood. Like LoveMy TL-S said, these cars are relatively inexpensive to maintain. Remember, this is from Honda, who is known for dependability and reliability. These things run and run and run. This is my 3rd Honda/Acura (I had two different 4-door Accords before).
