New Owner - 2006 NBP 6MT
After searching for nearly a year, and doing a bunch of research, I finally got my TL. 2006 NBP 6MT NAV.
I plan on changing the transmission fluid to GM synchromesh this week, as I have noticed a slight amount of notchiness shifting into 3rd gear. I also plan on modifying the check valve in the slave cylinder soon.
Any other advice for a new TL owner would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

Congrats on the new ride!
I have an '05 NBP 6MT with Nav and love it. It's not a perfect car (rattles, huge turning radius) but it's the good blend of sportiness, handling, luxury, good looks, and fuel economy.
Get it detailed as nothing looks better than a clean and shiny NBP car. If you've never owned a black car before, you're going to be spending extra time keeping it looking good compared to other color cars.

47000 miles, bought from a private party. It's my first black car, but i am meticulous with my cars anyway, so I plan on keeping her looking good regularly

47,000 miles on an '06, my advice would be to become aware of routine maintenance the average driver is not aware of (and most likely did not perform); essentially preventative maintenance. Here's where I would start:
Most likely you won't have to perform maintenance on everything, I personally like knowing where everything stands on my vehicle my

- Engine oil & filter
- Tire pressure
- Brake pads & rotors
- Engine air filter
- Cabin air filter
- Power steering fluid
- Brake fluid
- Transmission fluid (GM Synchromesh or Amsoil Synchromesh MTF is a Great upgrade, I used Amsoil and noticed a difference even in 20 degree weather)
