They did it here, they can do it again. Has anyone done better?

I purchased from them after the last ebay auction. I didnt use the auction and emailed them. I ended up purchasing at exactly 29,800. Total doc fees were only ~44.50 (it was like 12.50 ny state tire fee, 10 this fee, 10 that fee). Thats it. I was going to go delivered for 565, but decided to fly and pick up. I did the entire deal via email/phone/fax before going to get it. It was flawless and i had n problems what so ever. Best price by a long shot in my area. I emailed the quote + shipping to local dealers and none would touch it.
if you are close enough, i would jump on it.
edit: the 29,800 included dest. charge, so NO additional fees, great deal.

Hey,
Couldn't you actually push for a slightly lower price since the dealer had to pay EBAY a percentage of the sale anyways? I bet you could use that as a bargaining tool. Ebays commission is several hundred dollars I'm sure.... maybe even $1000. It's worth a shot. I'm not in the market for a new car yet but I just wanted to throw this out and see if anyone can get it to work.

Here's the same seller (before a name change) selling the same car (same ad, anyway) back in early January. Also a very good price. However, this sale was long enough ago (18 days as of Jan 27) that I'm wondering why neither buyer nor seller has yet left feedback. Maybe the deal never closed? It says a deposit was due within 48 hours, and I would have expected the deal to close within a week or so.

Some parts of the country are still MSRP, or very close to it, on even non-Navi cars. What is this dealer doing wrong that they have to sell a new and popular model near invoice? Many dealers do better on Taurus' as far as profit. Does Curry have a bad reputation?
I Usually only believe these eBay deals once feedback has been completed, although I see from a post above that a forum member got the same deal.

Because i picked up the car, they had to arrange the registration and plates. if you get it shipped, you can take care of it on your own or have them do it for a typical ~200 registration charge.
the whole process was pretty smooth all the way through. although i didnt go through ebay to give feedback, i would give them pretty good grades on how everything was handled. i was VERY nervous making this purchase as i have never bought something like this without being able to see and drive my final product first.
