New Nighthawk Black Pearl here
Hi everyone. Just wanted to say thanks for great info on here. I have been lurking here for a while and finally decided to purchase a TL. My wife and I are expecting and I need to sell my 2004 350Z. I have been following the TL since the 3rd gen came out. Always wanted it as my 3rd car. My wife has a Murano and I had the Z. Unfortunately the Z never gets driven and we decided it seems as if it is dumb to let it sit in the garage, paying insurance, registration, payment and never using it since it is not the most comfortable car in the world with nowhere to put anything in it.( Duh, it's a sports car, but oh well)
I found a Nighthawk Black Pearl 6mt Ebony interior with navi. I think I got an ok deal. Paid $33,400 plus TTL. 6mt are few and far between in Phoenix, I had to drive to Tucson to buy. I love this car. Looked at an IS, but couldn't justify the price for what you get. I also looked seriously at the MazdaSpeed6, but the TL destroyed that car value/luxury/quality wise. I don't think I will miss the Z too much.
Look forward to being in the Acura family!! I am amazed at the TL so far.

Good choice! I'm sure some youngster will pick the 350z up. In your sale ad just note that you have a baby on the way and had to get a bigger vehicle. You might want to research the TL's safety a bit too. Its definitely one of the more positive, not so well known, aspects.

Great choice of color, I picked up my car last night. Same color with a parchment interior and Navi, automatic. The only other car I really looked at was the BMW 3 series but I need the back seat room and BMW drove me nuts with "everything is an option" policy. I do own a '99 BMW Z3 that I bought used so did not have to pick options but the buying experience at Acura was a pleasure after dealing with the BMW dealer the prior day.
Not enough time on my new car to say much, just drove it home last night but I do own a bluetooth cell phone and I'm a happy guy with that one feature
