had my 06 TL for about 6 months now, ive put on a cold air intake but thats mainly it as far as the engine goes. i was looking to get headers but realized i cant because the 3g doesnt have an exaust manifold. should i buy the manifold & headers? or does anyone have a recommendation as to a difference mod i could do. im looking to make it fast so any type of suggestions will help. thank you

Welcome to the forum, use the search function to look up more mods, also the vendors offer a wide selection, as far as suggestions go, normally people buy a J-pipe PCD's (pre cat deletes) or HFPC (high flow pre cats) and exhausts.

You are correct, the TL does not have an exhaust manifold. They are cast into the motor block. The first replaceable thing on the exhaust (persay) is the catalysts for pre-cat deletes or a high flow cat, and then the j-pipe, then the exhaust piping and mufflers.

Just get the exhaust and call it a day. Pre cats will give you some gains but are more trouble than what they're worth IMO especially if your state is strict on emissions. Plus you'll have to deal with rasp.
