New member, need recommendations for rear brakes
i just bought my first tl, its a 05 nbp six speed. love the car so far. it does need new rotors and pads for the rear. it has some drilled/slotted rotors on it now. im just curious what you guys would recommend without going way overboard. this is my daily and i dont want to spend a crap ton of money. i see stoptech seems to be decent prices, anything good or bad to say about them or if there is another brand to consider or any sites i should check out for good deals please let me know. thx guys and gals

Some members sport the CMAX Gold ceramic pads from Autozone. They are $60.00 a pair (I think) and have a lifetime warranty. So good reviews in other threads. Also, you may want to search for brake pads or rotor for more threads.

I installed Rotora slotted rotors and pads all around on my car. Had them for almost 8 months, and am satisfied with my purchase. I plan on doing a full review write up on here within a few days.

Just ordered a set of 4 drilled/slotted rotors and Z16 Ceramic pads from Brakemotive. Some say these are good, I will post review when it gets in and installed.
There is a deal going on for all four at $145 shipped!

Wow, that is a steal. At that price I'm almost worried about the quality of the rotors, from a machining background, thats a lot of metal to get for a very cheap price. It lists that the manufacturer is ISO9000 Certified which does ease my mind a bit, but still wonder where they are saving all that $ in producing them.
Edit: Ah, they are prices for 5AT rather than 6MT.

DWitis, please post your experience with those rotors after you install them. I am thinking of going the same route.
I am worried about the warping issues on these - some one complained about it here.
