Talking New member- black 2005 tl :D

Hi guys let me officially intriduce my car. I bought a 2005 tl 111k miles base saddle interior for only $2700 why so cheap it wasn't starting luckily after a few days of tinkering I finally got it fixed and it runs like a champ! Personally this is my fourth 3G tl but never found one I liked like this one. We'll here she is, finally washed and waxed her today

Thanks, yes it was a huge blessing. I think these Tl's are the best cars out there for its time. I don't think I'll ever get rid of it.

thanks fellas, definitely worth keeping for a long time. Long story short a guy in his 20's bought it last year for about 10k and recently in january he said the car just stalled out, out of no where, so he had it towed to tread quarters to figure it out and they had tried everything and ruled it to be an electrical issue. either way the dude posted on craigslist for 3500 obo saying it needed to be towed. so now that I got my own shop i figured why not, checked it out and the guy had it at tread quarters for 4 months with no solution and he owed about 500 to release his car which he didnt have the money for and didnt want to deal with a car that doesnt work. so... we negotiated got it for 2700 brought it to the shop, changed out fuel pressure regulator, fuel pump, crankshaft sensor, and new plugs and wires. honestly i dont know which one did the trick as supposedly tread quarters did all of them, but once trying to crank over, the tl finally started but had a rough idle and soon died after 5 seconds, so we added some starting fluid to keep it alive as it tried dying and then it stayed on, drove it for a bit and drove so heavenly!! changed the oil and blacked it out a bit. and i am in love!!!

lol honestly it was alot of internet researching lol trial and error and the basics either fuel or spark not making a car start. i was more worried about if the title was legit, if it was salvaged or anything like that. so i ran carfax and came back 2 owner 0 accidents. gotta say i was blessed!!
