I had been driving a Honda Accord 4 cylinder for about 7 years. I was thinking of buying a new car early next year (2006) when my brother got a new job which came with a company car and asked if I wanted to buy his 2004 TL Silver Auto non-Navi w/ 27,000 miles. I asked how much, he gave me a great deal. Pay it off (below 24k)! His old company gave him a car allowance so no money out of his pocket.

I have had the car for a week now, three tanks of gas 4 car washes and only about 80 miles with a purpose. I usually fill up once every other week. This car is so much fun to drive. The first few days I didn’t drive very spirited trying to learn the intricacies of that much horsepower on a front wheel drive. Now I find myself being a little to spirited which my brother gave me fare warning about. There is this long bridge on my way to work and @ 6:30 am going against traffic the highway is mine. I will let you use your imagination.

I couldn’t be happier with my new TL even w/ the common complaint of butt imprints in the seats.

I agree with your brother! I was a 7 year veteran of the SUV market. Let's just say getting into the seat of the TL turns one person into a very very "altered" driver.
