For the last 9 yrs, I have been waiting to get a 2004 TL and last week for my birthday, I got one...I'm so in love:-)
It's in fantastic condition, looks brand new and only has 105k miles on it.

Now I am Upgrading the lighting and adding a spoiler/wing.
Everyday I would see TL's driving down the road and I would get so jelous...now I look in my driveway and turn into a giddy little kid:-)

I have been checking out some of the threads here and learning a few things...Lighting...What do I do???

I ordered the black and clear tail lights with the switch back grey markers and interior led's. Should I expect any problems?

Head lights...What do I get? I want the clear corners, obviously, but I have seen so many options for led's, switchbacks, and fogs. I so badly need to see some Pics to help me decide...Please help!
Any and all input would be greatly apreciated.

Well let's see... First thing first. Did you know our car need the timing belt service at 105K so make sure you get that done if it hasn't already.

For head lights/tail lights there are different color/combo for headlights/tail lights out there, we can't tell you what look good and what look bad because that would be personal preferences. You just have to browse around to find the one you like I guess. You can start looking at THIS, THIS, and THIS thread and make a decision for yourself. After you decided what color/combo you want, you can either learn to DIY by checking out the 3G TL Garage or send them to either AckTL05 or JnC (both are vendors on here and do excellent works) for a price, of course.

For sidemarkers and spoilers/wing you can contact AckTL05 or Tim Poliniak (I'm not sure what his username is but his website is http://www.oemacuraparts.com/) for brand new, OEM stuff, or you can check out the BLACK MARKET for used items. I think there are a few people that are selling the sidemarkers on there right now.

For the interior lightings, you can read THIS thread. You can either buy your bulbs on eBay, websites like V-LEDs or I think there's even a vendor on our site that sells LED's. You can check out the Vendor's Directory to find other services.

For park or turn signal bulbs (front and rear) go with VlED's V3 Tritons or nothing! Dont waste your time with any other LED bulbs because none of them come even close to performing like the new V3's. They are available from www.VLEDS.com. They also have them in switchbacks but apparently they arent available just yet. The regular amber ones are though. Since you have a base TL the headlights will have to be modified if you go the switchback route since the base TL's have a amber lens go all the way across the parking lamp housing.

As for the spoiler, this is all just my opinion, but the decklid spoilers dont really look great on the TL's. What I do recommend if you for sure want something there is just go with a Type S style lip spoiler. Looks perfect on the TL!

I didn't realize I had gotten any responses until now.
I'm a novice when it comes to forums and how they work...
so here I am now.

I changed all my interior lights to white led's, got the clear & black
tail lights with switch back markers and the wing spoiler.
I love the way it's looking...You guys have no Idea how inlove with this car I am.
Now I'm wanting to change my head lights. I really want the clear markers, but also want the blacked out version which looks like is only available for the 07-08 models...anybody know different?

Later on, I'm going to paint the roof black and hopefully find the
A-Spec Body kit. Need to know about that as well, if anybody knows???

How Do I post pics with out a URL? Can't I just upload from my comp???

Oh yeah,
I also got the led's for the licesne plate and projector led's for the reverse. The only thing left to change is the head lights.

How much does changing the timing belt usually run and is it something I can do myself?
