Yes it can, search youtube son It takes a reallllllly long time though. I would upgrade tires, wheels, suspension and brakes first...

J_AZ trust me you can't go wrong with a TLS search craigslist/cars/autotrader every day private sells/dealers update there inventory good luck with your search and don't rush your decision

07-08 had the top speed regulated to 130ish while the 04-06 will wind out to 160ish.

You would have to spend an additional $1200 on an ecu for the type s which could remove the speed governor.

How long is consider as long race? 1 hour? 2 hours? just a reminder for you the base 04-06 TL with AT have longer ratio than the Type S and 07-08 base TL. Sure that our Type S top out at 130 mph but in time being for you to get from 100 to 140mph will be a heck of time due to that infamous Honda 4th gear ratio, so by the time you start to catching up Type S. Type S folks already slow down so they can enjoy the ride. IMO why the hell would you like to race a TL which is a FWD car? and is it necessary to go above 90 mph?
