New guy on the block

good evening
my name is taurean or u can just call me twin. i will be purchasing a new/used 2005 acura tl in a few days. i have narrowed the list down to 2 cars. i'm excited to own an acura tl because i think there are good cars. but i need some help on what to buy.

one dealetrship
2005 TL with 67k miles in excellent condition(said the pre purchased inspection) price $16k and some change(with all fees).

other dealership
2005 TL with 88k miles in good condition(brother test drove it) price $12,500 with all fees.

i'm tore between the two. if anyone have any questions to ask me about these car to help me make my decision please feel free to email me. i'm all ears.

The 2005 for 16k is too high, about $3500 too high. You can find 07-08's with that mileage for about that price. You would be better off getting the newer years as they look better, are updated and have a better trans!

I agree 16k is too high. I bought an 07 with 52,000 miles a few months ago for 14,300.

i'd check out cargurus.com

and cross reference w/ KBB

make sure u get the best OTD (Out-The-Door) price thats affordable for you

Best of luck and also look at private sellers.

I found a 06 TL with 160k, 1 owner serviced at acura dealer all its life for $7500. (navi is broke though, so have to try the DIY lens cleaning method)

Either one of them have navi? Agree with others...16k seems high.

Nice! I just paid $16k for an 08 w/navi 3 mths ago from a dealer. 67k miles. Always serviced by Acura and in great shape. I couldn't walk away!

i bought mines for $7,000 with 91,300 miles 05. i think you could find better price.
