New to the forums
Hello everyone,
I am new to the forums and to the Acura family. My last car was a 2006 Scion xB. I just bought a 2008 Acura TL type S, color Black, with 27k miles on it, CPO, 100k bumper to bumper warranty for around 28k.
I am loving my car. She is very beautiful. I took her out for a test driver the other night to see how she handled on some back roads, she drove and handled VERY nicely. It was even wet (rain) out.
Also, I tested out her speed, I got her up to 125MPH on a private road of a friends. I could have pushed it further but I didn't want to test my luck, on my first go. I have to say, it was still a very smooth and controlled ride at those speeds. I wonder what the top speed is.....hhhmmmm....
Anyone have any suggestions for upgrades or cleaning supplies and products? I might start doing some auto crossing for fun at Fedex Field.
I am really looking forward to discussing the TL and giving back to this community once I learn more about the car. I will eventually make a carputer with my own spin on it (I'm a computer guy)

I think NBP may be the most common color for the TL-S. It seems to me that every other one I see is black.

Being a fellow Type S owner, I can't say that I would do any aftermarket suspension because you can really screw up how your suspension works. Check this thread out for info:

The Aspec suspension upgrade is as far as I would go.
