new folk

Hello everyone, i just bought an 06 TL 5AT. it is a great car i have to say.

after 2 weeks of use, and i found some small problems.
1.the car tends to steer itself while braking and im suffering from torque steer over accelerating. i cant figure out is it the problem of the brake(cuz the dealer told me brakes are almost new, and i havnt drive any ff car with 250BHP before, so im not sure about this kind of torque steer is normal or what) or the differential. should i change the differential oil?
2. i also found the trans got slow reaction in M mode, it looks like it needs 0.5-1s thinking time before change a gear. is it normal with this gear box or should i change the tanny oil as well? tanny oil looks light brown but very clean.

Torque steer is normal.
Slow shifting tip-tronic is normal.

As stated above, both 1 and 2 sound normal. Welcome to AZ

The car should brake straight and true rather than turn-- check your tire pressure and tire wear; if there is any pulsation or vibration while braking, it's probably a warped rotor/disc.

Torque steer is normal under hard throttle, but not normal under lighter throttle. Self-steering and turning under throttle may will occur if the tires are worn or have gone bad.

Welcome to AZ.

Could be

1) miss matched tire pressure
2) Uneven tire wear
3) Alignment is off and its hunting ..

thx for the replies.
1. tire pressure is correct according to the TPMS, but i might check it manualy later.
2.all 4 tires are brand new
3.not sure about alignment, but at least the car runs straight on a flat road with steering wheel in the middle.
4.steer itself during brake only happens on rough road. and it happens to my friend's 04 Accord V6 as well(since they are basicly the same car), so i guess it is normal as well But this didnt happen on my old Maxima, dont know why.

BTW, the previous owner didnt give the acura DVD-A disc to the dealer. therefore i burnt one myself, but the one i burnt only plays for 15s on every track, and it will play for another 15s if i use FF. Is it the problem of the stereo system or i should get better DVD disc and try again?
