New feature in the TL...

You can laugh at me now.

I didnt get the memo that pressing unlock twice on the remote and holding it the second time will cause all the windows to go down.

I learned this... this morning in the rain.

LOL

Fastest way to raise them back up from outside the car is to insert the key in the driver's door lock and turn and hold to the lock position.

The lessons learned hardest are those that are learned best. Hope you didn't get the inside TOO wet. Make sure you wiped off the leather good so there's no spotting or anything...

On a related note, there's a mod you can do (with a $50-ish piece of electronics) that will let you roll the windows UP with the remote, too.

"does your unit work in the down manor. I dont want to accidently hit it and have a sunroof full of snow dumped into the car"

I had a similar "learning" moment when I washed the seats because the rear windows were slightly down. When I go into any carwash, I always pull up on all 4 window switches and the moon roof switch to be certain that everything is closed tight. What I did not realize was that the window lock switch was in the down position and that even the driver's controls would not operate the other three windows. Won't do that again !

The original functionality of the car is maintained with that module/mod. So, the car will still let you put the windows down with the remote. The mod allows you to *also* put them up.

It's always good to learn more about our cars. Last month I finally noticed that when using the wipers in the rain on a delay setting, it delays even more when going at a slow speed. Cool.

Going to be doing that mod for sure. I hate running up to the station and realizing my windows are still down. I gotta read into it.. but maybe the answer will present itself here.
When you click lock twice does it hold the feature on for you so it brings all of them up without the remote being in range and held down?
If thats the case then by the time the windows are up i'm already on the truck

you just push the lock button twice, you'll hear the car beep, and then the windows will roll up and the sunroof will close on their own.

There's a thread with great pictures and instructions on how to install this module. Definitely worth it!

So you dont need to hold it like you do to roll the windows down...
