Curve on the Accord is slightly sharper than the TL. My tape measure would not stay in the channel between the glass and body on her Accord. It stayed better on my TL.

am just worried about the rear curve....the TL roof is very slightly curved....dont know about 03-08 accord cpe roof !!!

yes that was my only concern....

how bad is that ? i know the spoiler has a curve to it !!!

*thinking out loud*
if that curve on the spoiler is sharper than the curve on the TL, wont it like cover all the unwanted space....might just leave 0.01" off....prolly more prolly less....

besides is a little longer ~0.2" (pending confirmation) and a little sharper curve....damn i like LOL !!!
*end thinking out loud*

Swoosh, I have to commend you-you've done some great work in getting a discount for Acurazine members.

Why don't you post the URL of the company giving the discount and also post what members need to do to get their discount.

That way, you don't have to be the point person for this. Everyone can contact the company individually and enter in the Acurazine discount and have the roof spoiler shipped directly to them.

Thanks Steve....its an ebay store and she is trying to make a coupon code so that members can go on there and put the code in and they will get their stuff delivered !!! But she was also saying if she can have all the orders at once....so I was just making a "backup plan" so that if she comes back to me and tells me to give all the members name at once I will be able to !!!

Does this lady think that we are going to apply these to Honda Accords? Perhaps you can lure the dimensions out of her with the suggestion that you have a dozen people ready to buy immediately, and it hinges on that data. Just wondering...

When I installed mine, I bent it in shape the night before and it pretty much stayed in that shape. It quite flexible. I don't know how much sharper Accord roof line is but unless it has an awkward shape, it should fit.
I know nothing about the length though.

Its surprisingly flexible, made completely of Polyurethane which is something I don't have that much experience with. I have been working with Fiberglass for years.
Hoping to get it installed this week, will post completed pics at that time. Hope it looks as good on the car!
how can I look it up on ebay??? I've been wanting this as well. post pics once installed.

no one should be worried about it not fitting the curve of any window..it's polyurethane...it will bend in half like a pretzel with the slightest amount of heat...i have this same exact roof spoiler modded to fit my 2g tl...fit the curve of the window just fine..just press it down and follow the roofline..

were waiting for this:

hello sir ,

thank you , for the honda accord coupe 7th 03-07, we have the measurement 44.3" and for the accord coupe 08-10 , we have it 46.8" .

We can still customize this length for you.

regards

Alisa BMWOEMSHOP
so what do we say....have an agreement on 45" or 44.8" ??? No ugly gaps on either side ....Alisha FTMFW !!!

btw Alisha was working late

I say NO gaps on either side. Make it sit flush on both sides. The closer the better. If they cant do that (but it seems like they can), at least make the spoiler sit flush on both sides of the window.

In conclusion, NO GAPS.

swoosh, looks like you are discussing dimensions of the Accord coupe with her. My measurements were made on the Accord sedan.
With that said, my vote is 45". Now get me a coupon code so I can place my order! I believe OP said he had to wait 2 weeks for delivery.
Thanks again!

Hmmm very weird.... just went out to car AGAIN with a dif friend from work and measured... glass edge to edge holding tape measure to curve with glass is EXACTLY 44.5" i guess i could shoot a video of this if need be. Not trying to make this difficult but that is what ive gotten twice now with 2 dif people. So unless my 06 TL has a diff glass than everyone else then i dunno. It is the OEM glass too so that isnt it

you could see the there is alot more curve to my widow than a accord or tl..all i had to do was modify the ends cus the edges of my glass are rounded...i personally love how this spoiler looks...its doesnt scream out "look at me"..but is definatley noticable..very clean looking

Right but the glass doesn't go to the edge of the side panels...

These guys want a flush fit right to the panel, you are measuring how the manufacturer measured and thats why there is a gap

I guess i just got confused then bcuz u said the spoiler is exactly 44.5" long right but on pg 3 of this thread your picture shows ur exact 44.5" spoiler not reaching to the glass edge. So i was just curious then it would seem your window is wider than 44.5" so y is mine dif? haha thats all. Overall id be happy if it went from edge to edge of the glass simply bcuz if it goes from body edge to edge there wont be anything for it to stick to, not that it would be needed, but i dunno overtime if that would have any kind of affect?

^^^ to where this thread has gotten....

i measured the 3G TL rear from edge to edge and it was 44.8" !!! but this was not considering the curve and neither the small gap between the window and the trim....i think 45" would be perfect !!!

dont know whats taking Alisha so friggin long to create a coupon code....will have to do something about it LOL !!! !!!

Now now... The whole thing is a little confusing, considering different people are putting up different measurements. I think most of us want to confirm the fitment before purchasing this piece. I'm growing impatient myself, and I'm going to probably purchase the TL version for $98 and live with the slight fitment issue. If an updated version ever gets moulded and released, perhaps I'll sell the original for a discounted price on the BM and pick up a new one using the funds from the sale.

That sounds about right, but I ended up with 44.8" between the panels and a 44.5" width for the window. I guess it all depends on how it is measured. I can't imagine there being a .3-in different between different cars.

It's all irrelevent for me know. I just purchased the $98 TL-designated roof spoiler. I'll probably just get used to the gaps like I get used to dings from flying road debris and keep it, regardless if a new version is released or not.

am back people LOL!!!

so ok people this is not rocket science....the red voodoo man am not asking for a commitment for a 30 year house mortgage....i got like 4 email from you with "am in" and "am out"

the reason am doing this is so that we all can save money and get a spoiler without any window gaps !!!

i measure the TL roof line and if you include the curvature, it comes to 44.9...ignore the curvature and its like 44.8....include the water drain line and its 45"....

the spoiler is 44.5" which means you will have a .2-.25" gap on EACH side !!!

everybody, i will be writing to alisha today and getting a coupon code !!! am tired of modifying my list with people who are so indecisive !!! I will be posting up the coupon code you can use and you will have a 44.9"-45" spoiler delivered to your door !!!
