Hey all...

Just driving Southside here in Chicago today and saw a new TL (dealer pricing in the windows and all that) with a color I've never seen. It was like Anthracite except about 2 shades darker....almost a deep gun metal grey. And it looked daaaaamn cool.

Is this a 2005? A 2004 with a "special" paint job?

Help me here, folks...

 

The Anthracite does look different from different angles.

 

Nah...I have Anthracite. This was a totally new color. And, as I said, damn cool.

Did you happen to see which dealership the TL was from? If you did, go there and take some pics.

 

I didn't....just noticed the tags in the window as he was going by. The local dealer is Joe Rizza, where I got mine, but when I was in the other week to get rattles taken care of, there was nothing like it on the lot. Next closest dealer is in the Western Burbs. I'll go by this weekend with the digital and see if anything is there tho...

 

DPG will look different by light and angles. A few ppl ever called my car as Anthracite... are they nuts?

 

DGP is a nice color. I still haven't seen one on the road yet. I did see one at my dealer. It did look different by light and angles.
My NBP is the same way. It looks blue when your up close and at an angle.

 

I've seen many DGPs!!!!! On the way back from Chicago, I saw 3 DGP's and 2 anthracite.
