thanks alot guys, i had a o4 tl and am wanting to buy a new type s but i want to wait till the new body style comes out. i can see in those pics how it will probably look good without all that camo on it.

I'm planning a mid-4th G jump myself, but I agree with Pete that the camos make it look like a Maxima. Hopefully that's not true, because I'm not a fan of Maximas and that bulky look.

As for your "rude awakening" to the posting of threads, don't take it personal. But do try to use the search mechanism. You benefit as well, and you may not like the answers you get otherwise. Sometimes the boys play rough. LOL!

BTW...whatever you buy...make sure it's NBP (Nighthawk Black Pearl) playa!

I'm glad I've got a 3GenTL....the new body style is horrible. The fact that a new model is due in '09 should make getting '08 models a good deal as the next model year rolls around.

I gotta be honest, after seeing these spy shots , and the day spy shots, that supposed new body style looks like straight up garbage, it looks like a mix between a monte carlo and a maxima, it's a disgrace to TL owners everywhere. I have an 04' TL and I sneer at that new style.

I can't even imagine the deals that'll be floating next summer... I've been holding off on jumping to a TL-S (from my current TSX) because I want to see what the new redesigns bring in terms of performance and looks (TSX and TL). I've been quoted $32.8k (incl. destination) on '07 TL-S! How do you beat that?

I'm really skeptical too... Hondas last few remodels have been hit or miss, although at least Acura is now autonomous. I like the new MDX and CRV, but I hate the new Accords (although I may be in the minority). I've seen a lot of test mules w/ extra body panels, etc. just to disguise the car even further, so here's hoping the new TL doesn't look like a Maxima

It might be a good idea to actually see the car without the camo before we *decide* that it's a "disgrace to TL owners everywhere". LOL.

IIRC, there were some pretty disparaging remarks about the 3G when it was just coming to market as well. 4 years later, everbody says it the best look ever.
