New to Azine. New to Acura.
Hey guys,
I actually found this site by accident after searching for "what coolant do I put in my 2006 Acura TL" lol.
Well, my name is Matt, Im from East Petersburg, PA and i'm 20 years old.
I just recently purchased a 2006 Acura TL (MT,NAVI,premium brakes/Rims, Black/black) after owning an 02 mitsubishi Lancer OZ Rally edition, a 02 Cavalier Coupe, A 2007 mitsubishi Eclipse, and a 2009 mitsubishi Evolution XI, I can safely Say I am An Acura guy all the way. After I fix the damage from a minor accident a week ago, I will start posting Pictures of The mods Ill do.
Currently the only mods I have done to the car is my Sound system (2 12JLW7's in a ported box with a RF T40001BD Amp. Probably taking it out though.
My future mod list
-New Window tint (15% front/rear, 5% back window)
-A spec lip kit
-Tein Super street Coilovers
-either Acura TL-S Tail lights or Tinted tail lights
-Tinted headlights with HID fogs
Now, with the A-spec lip kit, is it a completely new bumper/side skirts/rear bumper or something that bolts on? I have minor damage to the front bumper (about a 4 inch crack right beside the headlight) It would really suck if I got it fixed and then ended up finding out the a-spec kit was completely different.
Also, where can I find HID fog lights for the 06 TL? I've googled it, but im not 100% sure what the part # is.

great start getting a 6MT TL
the Aspec kit is just an add-on
as for the HID fogs, you can get them from a vendor on the site such as HIDextra. just search for a 9006 conversion kit.
as for HID bulbs, the higher K you go, the less light you see on the road, but you get more color. if you want to match the OEM headlights, go 5k. if you want the JDM look, go 3k. If you want blue, i wouldnt go any higher than 6k. anything 8k and above looks ricey.

Since you got the 6MT, i would put GM Synchromesh transmission oil to replace the OEM one. It usually fixes and prevents the 3rd gear pop problem.

@pizzman I thought that was me! I was really worried about 3rd gear, so I try to be very careful. I F*CKING LOVE AZINE! hahaha.
Im planning to do a Radiator/Tranny flush after I get my new Rotors/brakes/tire rotation/balance/alignment. this makes me feel alot better.
