New to AZ and looking to pick up a TL soon...
Just saying hi, I just joined this forum in hopes of getting information on the 3rd gen TL. I'm looking to get one within a couple weeks and just wanted to see what's available as far as aftermarket and where everyone is getting stuff from along with common issues etc. So far my plan is to get an auto with Navi hopefully. I plan on doing A-Spec body kit, 18/19 wheels not sure yet, mild drop and possible axle back exhaust. This will be my daily driver. I'm not really going after performance mods, just styling. I currently own a 1st gen SC300 with full 2jzgte swap, Auto Couture kit etc that satisfies my need for speed lol and I have a 00 Integra Sedan as the daily. The teg is cool but I always wanted a 3rd Gen TL. I was trying to find a vendor that sells the A-Spec kit but couldn't find any info yet. Anyway hope to learn as much as I can in regards to my planned mods when I get the TL. Oh here's a pic of the SC below. Any info you all can provide will be appreciated.

Three Wheelin'
Yes the 2nd gen did have tranny issues, it was due to the way it was positioned. The 3rd gen does not suffer from that at all. Good luck with your decision, and if you do decide on a 3rd gen, maaaan u wont regret it! its a beautiful thing, and once u start modding..gets even better!

Well after going back and forth for months I finally picked up a 04 SSM Auto. I've been doing a lot of research on the forums here and I've found a lot of valuable and helpful information. I plan on getting ASpec kit, JnC Lights, Type S Tails, Accord fogs, 18x9 or 19x9 wheels, coilovers, Stage 1 exhaust.
Had a question though, the car is out of warranty, is it possible for me to buy an extended warranty from Acura or somewhere else. The car has 48.5K miles.

Glad to hear you found a TL man! Sounds like you have some great plans for the car![Thumbs Up](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif)
As for an extended warranty goes, I don't know the fine details, but you should be able to go to your local Acura dealership and see what they offer. There are tons of other independent companies offering extended warranties as well. It doesn't hurt to call around, but I would start at your closest Acura dealership

^Yea man no problem. I'm not guaranteeing shit, but you never know. You may have to have them check out the car inside and out before they put it under warranty.
