New Addition 2004 TL NBP

I've been part of the forum for only a couple weeks but I never posted any pics of my new addition. This is my first car that I bought and I'm definitely satisfied. And to think when I got to the dealer I saw a 2007 Charger that I was pretty much set on buying and she was sitting next to it and I checked it out but looked away. While I was walking away to talk to the salesman about the charger I told my dad that there was a TL that was the same price and yea he basically changed my mind and convinced me to get the TL. After I test drove it the next day I was set it's what I wanted but I was still holding back because I was in FL (Home) but I was stationed in ND and I didn't know how I was gonna get it up there. I kept telling the salesman that and the dealer agreed to ship it up there for me if I were to buy it from them no extra charge.
2004 65k AT (One Owner)

(At The Dealer the night before I bought her)

(At a friends house looking sexy)

(Just messing around with my camera)

After having her up here for not even 2 weeks someone already hit me. IN THE PARKING LOT!!

The guy that hit me didn't want to go through insurance and he agreed to pay for everything out of pocket. I already ordered a taillight assembly and should be here tomorrow. I was just wondering if anyone has a write up on how to do this?

Good choice on the TL over the charger. And sucks about your accident.

Easy fix OP. Welcome to the forum too! When you open the trunk, remove the small push pins with a small flat-head screwdriver. Pull the trunk liner back and you will see 4 8mm nuts. Remove these, then your license plate, then disconnect the 4 plugs for your tag lights/reverse lights. Might have to tap the 4 bolts a few times to loosen up the assembly. Voila

Welcome and congrats!

Sounds like you had an awesome salesman. I was considering purchasing a Charger R/T before getting my TL as well but I couldn't get over how dark and dreary the interior was, therefore I went with the TL. You're a lucky man for getting one with low miles and the A-Spec kit already! That's less money you have to spend on it down the road.

Do you have any plans for it? Tint maybe?

For right now I'm not gonna really do anything. I don't know how long I'm gonna be stationed here and since it snows 9 months out of the year I don't wanna do any suspension or wheels yet. As for tint I'm just gonna wait till spring, the road into town is always slick or covered in snow and since I don't have winter tires I don't wanna take the chance, and from what I was told there's already 5 cars in the ditch. So yea I'm staying on base.
