New to AcuraZine, long time honda owner

Where to begin. My 1st car was '91 honda Civic 8 yrs ago. My mom gave it to me with 170K miles on it. Drove it everywhere. Now has 289,989miles on it. I then bought a 2002 CBR 945RR in 2006. Been lovin' it ever since. Now my wife has been buggin me to get a new car but i just didnt want any car. I wanted a 2008 TL type-s 6spd. I Looked for a very long time and this past weekend i finally had a chance to get it. So my wife and I took a 4hr drive through the mountains of Colorado to the front range of Colorado, stopped by the Acura dealership and picked that black baby up! I am now the proud owner of a 2008 TL type-s 6spd!!!! And I couldn't be happier!

Congratulations! Welcome to the 3G club, and please post some pics of the new ride soon! (CLtotheTL32: I'm guessing it's an NBP. )

Congrats on the new car, enjoy!

Nice setup there, just picked up a 08 Type S myself. Currently have a 03 Civic which I'm replacing with the TL and I also have a 02 954RR and 08 1000RR. Kinda of a Honda guy myself!

When it stops Ill take some nice PICs with her next to my red 954 and maybe the 91 civic in the back ground 3 mods i want to do. Carputer! XLR8 exhaust twin tip(need advice on this is it too loud or just right?) and Cold air intake (is this worth it)?

To be honest with you I haven’t even driven the Type S yet, waiting to sell my Civic first. The 1000RR is pretty scary when you open her up.

Currently selling my 954 and will probably sell the 1000 next year and get a 600. With all the new crazy laws here and very little time to ride it doesn't make sense for me to have a 1000cc bike.

I'm sort of like you! First car purchased myself was an RSX-S. Now got a TL-S. I have an Aprilia Tuono, but I have an affinity to Honda bikes as well. I remember my 05 600rr as being such a great ride. Smooth engine, great handling, loved it. Tuono is a much different beast. I plan to get another Honda bike one day.

Nice one.

I also recently went from a Honda (98 Civic supercharged) to an 07 TL-S in black, 5AT since it was used.

Loving the decision!
