Finally got a TL! 6mt w/ Navi at 99k. I'm coming from a 2003 CLS 6mt which I still haven't sold yet. I really like the car, it's not as raw as the CL but still really nice nonetheless. It has a new clutch so I have really pushed it yet.

Three things I was hoping I could get some advice on:

1. Whenever I have the wheel turned (not going in a straight line) I get a clicking from the right side when I get on the gas, if im just coasting around a corner there is no noise unless I give it gas. I suspect it to be the axles but it makes the sound when turned either left or right but the sound always seems to be coming from the right side. I have a warranty on it but I was hoping I could figure out what it was before I get them to just start trying things.

2. My trunk button doesn't work, it will open from the fob but not from the button in the car

3. The car came with aspec wheels (gunmetal color?) but they have a good bit of curb rash, what type and color of touch-up paint would be recommended until I can get them refinished? Mostly just want to hide the glaring silver from the bare metal for now.

1. Sounds like cv joint/axles.? Not 100%, I haven't had that problem yet, just going off of what I've read.

2. Could be the connection for the trunk release lock in glove box, maybe unplugged. Not that hard to fix if it is unplugged. Remove glovebox, and some screws. Here is a diy for cabin filter replacement, which you may want to do as well.? Who knows if the original owner ever changed it. You will see in the pics a little connector top left of glove box. Make sure that's connected and switch is flipped (so button works) (could try that first, before removing glovebox).
