Why would Toyota change their inline 6 to the V6 ?? I've always been a fan of the JZ engine.
Emmisions. All Lexus engines will now be ULEV passing...

The Fuga is not in production yet, its a concept. The article link I included (below the M45 pictures) has more info.

That's funny you'd say that, because my '00 TL and my brother-in-law's '04 TL both ahve amazingly short seat cushions. I'm 6'1" and the lower half of my thigh is off the seat. Makes my already bad knees very sore on any long trip. Part of the reason I traded in my TL against my GS430 after less than a year of ownership.

I REALLY admire the '04 TL, but the fact that the seat cushion is still so short is a major criticism of mine.

I actually noticed this problem in FWD cars. The ES 300 seat is short as well. The IS 300, a much smaller car, has a much more comfortable seat. I'm 6"5, the GS seat holds my body perfectly. The TL seats, smaller to me but no major issue. I did wish the GSII had more side bolstering, and it seems they fixed that with GS III.

Unfortunately I shattered both my kneecaps at a kid and never had them fixed properly, so my knees fatigue quite easily. When I drive for a long time, it gets worse. When my knees are absorbing more of the support role because of the shorter seat cushion as with my old TL, even worse.

Yeah, more side bolstering on the GS seats would be welcome, but I've adjusted the seat, including the lumbar, so that I just kind of sink into the seat and it seems to work quite well.

I find the SC 300/400 seat more comfotable than the GS seat, IMO. I could drive that car for years and not feel a thing. The LS 430 seat, there are so many positions, like a German car. I also like the CL-S seats alot but legroom is short to me. Boxster seats are great too.

Funny how I bet some car makers just slap in a seat (cough GM cough) and some actually study seats to make em comfy.

The only long enough seats out there are the BMW sports seats. The '04 TL seats actually work better than the GS seats because of their superior shape. I had them both for a week.
