Getting ready to purchase my first TL. One thing I hope you can help me with. Looking to finance through Honda as one of my options, but have little faith in a dealership giving me thier "best" rate. Who has financed through Honda and what rate did you settle on? Thanks in advance.

 

I financed through Honda and I feel that I got a good deal. The rate that you will be quoted will be based on your credit history. You really can't go by what others have gotten. I think what has been said before on this board is that you should try several banks or online credit sites and bring those numbers to the dealer when you ask about Honda's financing then you can better compare your options.

 

Unfortunately rates are adjusted as to what your dealership thinks they can get by you. I should have rephrased my inquiry. I am well aware of credit scores, know that 5.35% seems to be the going rate with most lenders at this moment. Has anyone gotten a better rate from Honda this month?
