I bought these clear side markers for my 04 wdp

Im starting to second guess my decision lol. I saw this pic of another members car and thought it looked good.


Down the road I was planning to swap the amber and red lights for some bright white leds. Im starting to think if I should of bought the type s smoked side markers for the rear instead. what do you guys think? I have my taillights blacked-out with dark vinyl

I havent seen any pictures of what these clear markers look like at night but I feel they are gonna look like crap when lit up with amber and red.

I think the smoked would look better since you have blacked-out tails.

Looks good either way on WDP .. Mine are smoked .. regarding the red ones .. pop them out and do a couple of layers of Night Shades on them. It will take the redness out but still show red at night. Low cost option.

It is ILLEGAL to have the actual light of the sidemarkers to be white. They must be amber or red, or so I'm told.... but the "lamp" part is ok to switch colors.

I think the cleared out look is great on WDP.

I like those clear side markers on the WDP. they go well with the clear blinkers in the side view mirrors.

Having them painted is always an option. I did it and it was only 40 bucks. my car is AM and i wanted the type S markers, but honestly i couldnt be happier with them painted.

I like the clear. Put them on both front & back (the lights are amber and red, right?).

since i already bought the clear ones im going to install those and see how they look. if i dont like it, i might try and put some vinyl on the clear ones and take it from there. i can always buy the type-s markers down the line

i think the clear ones look that bad on WDP......but i cant imagine it look good on any other color

clear ones are nice they look different but i personally like the darker look especially on the lighter color car. i put the types s rear markers on with tinted tails and looks good...i always get compliments...

Well im still waiting on the clear side markers to arrive. I just purchased some 07 base tails that AckTL05 is going to work his magic on and black them out for me. Hes going to leave the clear part of the tail light clear but everything that is red will be painted gloss black.

Soon after, im going to have my headlights cleared and blacked out as well. At this point, smoked side side markers might not flow with the headlights and taillights.

Its either going to be clear or blacked out side markers

The clear sidemakers appear to be of good quality and im happy with the way they look. The lens is clear and there is a chrome colored piece of material inside the lens. Now...do I leave them clear or paint them gloss black?

Leave them clear, put them on the car, and post pictures of it here

Since your taillights are going to be black, it may be a good idea to black them out. I did my DEPO sidemarkers with NiteShadez and they look pretty good!
