need input for buying TL!!
hi all,
well here's my situation. I was recently in a car accident no fault to my own that totalled my TSX. loved her and unfortunately i didn't get to play with her much since i'm always getting deployed. So the claim settlement is coming through such and such and i thought about upgrading to the TL.
I'm a member of USAA so we get special prices at participating dealerships. Here is what they have offered. they loads of TLs', and willing to hand me one for 28,500. and a TL-S for a cool 32K that is if they can get their hands on one. i have my name on the list for it but they aren't sure when they'll be getting it. they have recieve onesie and twosies every month but are always sold once they get them. do you guys think i should wait ont he TL-S or just go ahead on a regular TL?

I wouldn't wait much longer if you really want a TL-S. What ever is left on the lot is all they have available. Acura has started cranking out the 09's and If your dealer is receiving new TL-s, then they are buying from another dealer. Honestly, you don't need USAA to receive those special prices. I just bought a TL-s for $32,150 without utilizing USAA. Try searching a cars.com for a tl-s that maybe available with 250 of your home and speak with their internet sales/fleet department on their best price for a TL-s. Just my

Coolmints,
Go for the Type S, you won't regret it. Aceman has a good point too. I went to Cars.com and found a Base TL in Chicago ( I live in Kansas City). I printed off the Cars.com TL and took it to my local dealer for a price match. In the process, I got upgraded to a Type S. Now, when I take my Type S in for service, they always give me a Base TL. I feel like there is a huge difference between the two.

type-s all the way ... if the several k won't kill the deal for you .... esp. if you plan to keep it for a few years, then type-s will out perform/outsale the regular in the end ...
Good luck ....
Good luck ....
