Need help with touch up paint

So, the other week, as I'm leaving work, I park in front of my office to grab something, as I come out, I notice this nice little gift near my front bumper:

Anyway, have not been in any collision, and upon inspection, there appears to be no damage, so I guess paint may have just chipped off?

Regardless, it sucks, and I want to take care of it. I've never painted a car before, but for something like this, I'm assuming I'll need primer, top coat, and undercoat for starters? Any recommendations where online I should get this? How difficult/easy would something like this be?

It's kind of one of those things where if you have to ask....Have a professional repair shop fix it OP.

i cant see the pic at work;
but for anything plastic: PREPERATION is key. That means sanding;cleaning;primer,adehesion promoter,paint and Clear coat. and lots of time if you're not at a shop.

It looks like whoever painted that didn't sand, prep, and primed it. The paint came off because there was nothing for the paint to stick on too. It needs to be sanded and primered and reprinted. If your on a budget, your better off going to Maacco or something but its not great, better than touch up tho. I've seen commercials for them for a decent price.

I'd rather have it done right rather than fool around myself and get it done incorrectly. Anyone know how much it could potentially cost me for a quality job?

The price is going to vary from shop to shop. I say you get a few estimates.

for a proper repair and respray....$5-600 or so, depending on location and the shop. they would need to essentially respray your entire front bumper b/c of the paint that is on there, well laying there, needs to be re-prepped and primed for the paint to actually adhere to the bumper. or the easy way, buy a new OEM bumper cover and then have the shop paint it, replace the cover you have. probably same price or even a little cheaper esp if you do your own install.

You need to take that to a reputable shop and get it resprayed professionally. In the first pic I can see the paint bubbling around where it already chipped off. Has it been repainted before? Before long that whole area is going to chip off.

This is a very interesting picture. I'll preface my comments by saying I painted for an Acura dealer for about 3 years before I left the auto industry. Most likely, your rear bumper has been replaced and repainted at some point. Either a new aftermarket or new OEM bumper was used. I can tell there has been refinish work done because the gasket on the A-spec lip has paint on it. There is 2 lip kit gasket colors, light gray, and black. Yours is light gray with silver paint on it, that is cracking off, (no paint should be on the gasket). The bumper was not prepped correctly either, as others have stated. If you took an air gun with high CFM air, you could probably blow off some of the paint on the rear bumper. Basically at some point in the past someone replaced/repainted your rear bumper with the lip attached, and painted the bumper and lip at once, (big no no). Sucks to say it, but your rear is botched by a hack shop.

The lip and bumper should be re-painted properly, and the lip gasket should not have paint on it.
Its a shame because something like this will take significant time to re-prep and refinish correctly.

Yep

Same thing happened to my rsx, and unfortunately he's prob right. I had an accident and took it to a place the insurance company suggested.. It looked good until in had something like that happen. Then it continued to "spider web" the whole way across the bumper and crack off. Once it started to spread it spread fast, I couldn't believe it.. I later found out that the shop I took it to was notorious for sucking!!

My old '03 3.2 TL had this issue too! I noticed that the paint was bubbling and one day, a huge part of the paint started flaking away. If I remember correctly, I paid 600 for the body shop to fix it.
