I just got my a spec kit for my tl type s 08. I'm trying to install it right now and drilling holes but, the kit only came with templates and washers... it didn't come with the left and right brackets and screws... Do I need them to install the bumper?

 

those brackets are pretty important on the type-s... if you dont install them, the side part of the lip kit can be "peeled" away from the bumper...

its kinda hard to explain, but i would def get those brackets...... you can install the bumper without them, and you can probably even put them on at a later time, without removing the front bumper... but you DEFINITELY want those brackets in place, especially on the type-s front a-spec kit
