Need help finding sensor

In the FSM on page 21-11 for 07-08, it shows how to run the sensor input display mode for climate control.
Sensor 9 in my car is always wrong, but I have not found where this vent temperature air out sensor is located.
I have located the other climate control sensors, but not #9.
Does anyone know where this sensor is located.

It appears that someone else asked this question, for an Acura TSX, back in 2013.

To complicate the matter the answer provided by the 'mechanic' appears to be that this #9 Vent Temperature Air Out sensor is really not a sensor?

Where is the Vent Temperature Air Out (TAO) sensor located and what does it do? I see that the cabin dash vents are ~5 - (justanswer.com)

"ok,I see what test you are running. That value is a calculated temp made by the climate unit based on the inputs into the unit . So the climate unit uses evap temp ,in car temp, and sunlight sensor input to estimate that value. There is no actual sensor for this. check the connection of the hose at the in car sensor and make sure the sunload sensor isn't blocked by anything. these units are target type so they are not actually always right at the set temp This is a known trait of these.
