Smile Need Help!!

Hey, guys.

Im hoping to join the Acura family soon. Im considering the TSX, TL or CL(may drop the CL soon). All three are gorgeous cars, in and out(more particularly TSX and TL). In order to achieve my dream in owning one of these beauties, im picking up a second job and im only 19!. Its my present to myself.

Thing is I dont know which one may better suit me. Im coming of a 99 Chevrolet Monte Calro Z-34. Its got a 200hp V-6 with roughly 225 ft/lbs of torque. So, needless to say, im use to and well adjusted to the power of V-6's. At first my top pick was the TSX. Absolutley stunning car. The only thing that got me down was the "underpowered" 4-cylinder VTEC engine. I read about it and I honeslty couldnt find a down side to it. People kept saying that its really peepy and the 6-speed makes it that much more fun to drive. Alot of them coming from the old 6-cylinder Accords and what not, but they were impressed with the 4-cylinder engine.

Because this car is gonna be with me for sometime to come, say 5-6 years, I want it to be exactly what i want, and i wont settle for less. If i want the Navigation, I wait and save and get the navigation. I want it to be perfect. So, with all this nonsense, can someone tell me what are the differences of the two, if any. Basically tell me if you want this got for this car, or this in this car. And also, how much should i be expecting to pay for say and new TL and TSX? Thank you and i keep you posted.

Two completely different cars. Drive them and determine what you can afford.

Enough said....

Remember that the carpayment you have next month hurts more than it will the month after that and the month after that and the month after that... you get the idea...

Good quote and so true. It's the gift that keeps giving with payments, taxes, gas, insurance, tires, maintenance........

I say, once you've gone V6, you will never go back.

I use the same theory that goes with buying a house... buy everything you can right now.. next year it wont seem nearly as bad... and the year after that it should be cake...

Takes a little longer to get to the 'cake' part of the home loan but not so for cars...

Buy what you can afford taking into account monthly payments, gas, AND insurance. But don't underestimate the TSX. That 4 cyl has more power than you may think and has a tighter turning radius than the TL for tight situations.

And for 2006, the TSX Nav system has more than twice as many voice commands as the TL.

Getting a second job just to buy a car, at 19 no less...I'd say keep the current car and live without the extra debt.

word or save a few extra grand then get it. ever few thousand that you save will lower you payments drasticly. plus if your car that you have now still runs then dont worry about a new car right now. just another hassle.
