Hey all, I just wanted to see what everyone thought about the murdered out look (blacked out everything). I have an 07' TL-S in the NBP color and was thinking about blacking out the side mirror lights, front and rear fender lights and tail lights. I also want to black out the front grill, tail pipes and emblems ONLY leaving the front "A" and the "Type S" on the trunk. As far as rims I was thinking about doing a set of LE37's in the black chrome look or the factory color or a set of wheels that I seen another member on here have. I'm not sure the type so I'll have to post a pic of the car and see if you all know the brand of wheels. They were a multi spoke style that was the same black chrome color as the factory and he also had the black out tail pipes....anyway what do you all think about this look? For the record I'll also be getting the clear headlights with the CF insert and the red angel eyes to complete the look.

Well I'm not doing the vinyl stuff, I'm just wanting the blacked out look. I'm not a fan of the vinyl wrap and the rims I'm wanting to keep the stock color just in a 19 or multi spoke.

Look up bforbrian also. A couple of his old setups were pretty much all black and it looked hot.
I like the all black look for some reason. I don't really like tinted tails and headlights though. Do it right and blackout the headlights, and get custom tails or something classy.

Damn fan_888 that looks sic! The grill you have is exactly the way I want to do mine. The only difference that I want to do is the side mirror and fender lights, I want to black those out, maybe the tail lights and I want to do the clear headlights with the CF insert. I want to get rid of the yellow so I can put in a nice white blinker (I know it's illegal but I've had white blinkers in almost all my cars and haven't had a problem). I like the wheels too but was looking for more of the factory color. I love the look though.

CE28N's or Rays A34's in black chrome would look perfect!!
See I like these rims the most...Rays A34's in a 19"

I like the tail lights with the white parts like the pic above but at the same time it looks like your actually opening the light up and blacking out the insides....am I right? In my thoughts I was going to black out the front part. I'm just starting to think that with the tails bring sold black and my car having a blue flake to it, will that look good?
AckTL05 I like the headlights!! How do you do that? I was going to go with JNC (I think that's the guy?) cause he has the CF insert part and could install my CCFL's.

if you are planning on doing your grill, i suggest 3m glossy black vinyl. it matches the NBP perfectly IMO. check out my progress thread and see what i mean.
vinyl won't chip, and looks cleaner i think. plus you can always take it off if you want to.

Very nice!! Is it easy to do the vinyl? The only reason I was asking about the color was because the car has a blue metal flake to it and when the sun is shinning on it just right the car is blue. I thought with the grill being black it wouldn't match. That's why I thought maybe he painted it NBP like the car.

In my search for wheels I came up with these:
![](http://i293.photobucket.com/albums/mm57/BlueDameon33/2007%20Acura%20TL-S/1288202119.jpg)
![](http://i293.photobucket.com/albums/mm57/BlueDameon33/2007%20Acura%20TL-S/1288202120.jpg)
![](http://i293.photobucket.com/albums/mm57/BlueDameon33/2007%20Acura%20TL-S/1288202118.jpg)
![](http://i293.photobucket.com/albums/mm57/BlueDameon33/2007%20Acura%20TL-S/1288202117.jpg)
I really like the first ones because the color is almost like our stock color and it has these CF w/ Red inserts that would look pretty neat on the TL-S. What's everyones thought on the red ring on the rims? Cool or to ricer?

When it comes to rims I was thinking about doing 19"s. What size offset can I do in tge rear so I get a little lip up front and I nice size lip on the rear and what tire size should I do so I don't get any rubbing? I'm leaving the car stock as far as suspension.
