Angry Need Advice - 1 week later!!!

Hey Everyone,

I am in need of advice....

Long story short, I took my TL in for service last week (B Service, Acura Service Bulletin for rear bumpstops and sagging 3rd brake light cover) and NO WASH (Nobody washes my TL but me).

The work was done and I drove off, satisfied, albeit a little aggravated to find spots of grease on my pristine camel interior .... I let that go, as they were minor spots that came right up with my leather cleaner/protectant. Like I said earlier, nobody washes/details my baby but me.

Anyway, I went thru my weekly Sunday AM Zaino ritual this morning and noticed that the drivers side rear sill plate was gouged to sh!t!!!!! :angryfire WTF!?!?!?!

I'm fuming right now and don't know what to do!?!??!? :angryfire I know it wasn't me or any of my passengers that could have done this handywork.... But how do I approach the dealership about this after the fact. I know they will only deny doing it, but I am 99.9999999999% sure it was not me

well. talk to the service manager. Be direct but take the emotion out of it.

Take it up with the service manager. I had a similar occurance and the dealer made it good again, no problem, no hassle.

I am going thru the exact same thing..I took my car into a local dodge dealership (yes i said dodge since the acura dealer is 100+ miles away)
they changed the oil and i forgot to say no wash..well I didnt notice anything until saturday when i washed the car again and parked it in the sun, the whole side is full of literally hundreds of scratches. I called the dealer and they told me to talk to the service manager on monday...

Interesting - I've got a sagging 3rd brake light cover. What is the service bulletin concerning rear bump stops about?

See this thread and only affects 2004 and 2005 (VIN specified) TLs.

I caught a rim scratch from a local car wash that has been great for years.

Made them write up a claim report and Ill have to get an estimate to have it fixed.
We'll see what happens than.
