i don't have any pictures here on my laptop, but we recently had a meet and my nbp's on there a few times...plus a handful of other 3g's...all varying from 20 to 15% tints. hope that helps man!!!

If I remember correctly all of them are 15%. The last picture he has his windshield tinted 35% as well.

 

did you guys tint your tail lights or did your spray something on them...

The last picture in the threes cars is sprayed. The second picture in the series is vinyl (which I just sprayed and got clear coat on it, like 10 mins ago)

 

The last pic Is my car, I have 5% all around, and 35% on the windshield. As far as the tail lights, I had a body shop use body color paint to paint the tail lights. It is painted on, I'll have to post up some night pictures. I like them cause at night you can't even tell that they are painted they light up as if they were never modified.

 

I dunno why but it always bugs me when people say tints instead of just tint. Sorry I have nothing useful to add to this thread.

def. the darker it is the better for me...but I don't want my car to be a cop magnet...

dragon's car looks nice and clean even though I thought 20% / 35% combination wasn't my thing.

my last question is: if xzilon clear coating has been applied to the interior (may be about 4 months ago), can we just tint the windows over it?

it shouldn't affect tinting as long as the windows are prepped properly or wiped down w/alcohol

 

quick question, do you think its possible to get the pre-cut ones with the slits cut out to fit the 07 model, cuz the tail lights are different with the two white slits...

15% all the way around

 

heres 35% all around

 

12% front and supposedly 5% back

 

5% in the backs, nothing up fronts. I would prefer 5% all around...but I don't want any more attention from cops. (I already have 2 speeding tickets in the almost 2 months since I've got this car! )

My car is at 5% rear and back sides, and nothing on front sides, sort of like the above (chill's)...

I can't go 5% all around, as it would be too dark...the picture above for 15% all around looks nice, but it would still be too dark for me...

Should I leave it at 5% / nothing right now, or should I do it 5% / 35% (back / front sides)? I am confused because 5% / 35% would probably still look mismatched.

Can't go darker than 35% on front, since I live in LA, and cops are really into giving tickets over tint violation....

Tinting front windows at all is illegal here in CA.

 

correct but i mean cops gotta be pretty b****y to pull you over just for tints...

I got pulled over just for tints, and the cop smelled beer on my breath and I was underage at the time so I lost my license for a year. Needless to say there is no longer tint on my front windows. I only had .03 alcohol content too

 

damn that sucks... i guess im lucky =]
