NBP with Ebony or Parchment?

I am struggling with which color interior I should go with. The wife thinks the Parchment is prettier but I like the look of the Ebony. Any comments would be appreciated.

Ebony! Parchment will show wear much more, but Ebony will show more dirt so you have to keep it clean. Ebony gets warm in the summer, but it looks very, very good when its kept well.

I like ebony, but thats just my preference. You guys should choose what the two of you like best, not what we say.

ensley is right. You guys are the ones that will be driving it. Seems like the biggest problem you have is convincing the wife to settle for the color you want

go with ebony, you'll be happy you did down the road when there is some wear on that interior..ebony ages much better than a light color like parchment

I struggled with this conundrum too. But, I went with parchment (with my NBP, 6MT); Yes, it is more difficult to keep clean. But, IMHO, the interior works better as a unit w/parchment. Also, parchment feels more lux, while ebony has more sporting intentions.

Parchment isn't harder to keep clean... it just ages quicker and shows its aging more.

Black is blahhh, no color. Get the Parchment, the biggest deal is the floor mats, get the black all-season mats and get a bottle of pinnacle cleaner/conditioner and you are all set

Check my pictures if you want to see a NBP and Camel. It's not as high maintenance as Parchment. You're in the South. Do you really want an all black car?

I was in the same boat. Ebony is sweet, but summer in Altanta is too hot for Ebony. Parchment is nice, but TLGator mentioned, it wears. I really liked both. I had an Integra with tan interior that I kept for 9 years and it really looked worn. I also had an Accord for 8 or 9 years with grey interior and it looked almost new when I sold it recently. I plan to keep this baby for a long time, so I went with Quartz! Best of both worlds. We' had some 90 degree days here already and it really hasn't gotten hot inside when sitting out in the open. Plus there haven't been too many of this combo, they had to go to SC to get it. Another factor was wood versus carbon fiber. I thought I liked the wood look, but eventually went for the carbon.
