yup open the sunroof, step outside the car and look through the sunroof at the navi. instant bird's eye view. j/k sorry there isn't a bird's eye view feature in the TL navi. there is a split screen where it shows you the next turn in relation to the road.

IMO, please, don't use their system... it's so... ugly... it's the bad so-called 3D system.

After having the ACURA NAVI in my 99 and 02 TLs, when I switched to an Infinity, I thought the "Birdview" on their NAVI was disgusting. However, their "PlanView" (or regular map view) is so much worse than the ACURA NAVI map, I left the thing in "BirdView". It took a while, but I got used to it.

However, there is no question that the NAVI in even the older Acura's is far superior to the NISSAN/Infinity NAVI. The 04 TL NAVI is primo, as compared to most other NAVI's, IMHO.

On the Nissan/Infiniti navi, you can't program it while your moving. What if your going to one destination but decide to go to another destination instead you would have to pull over first.

I thought all Navs made you stop to program them?

Either way, I love the TL navi, especially the size

Acura's Navi allows data to be entered while moving, which is great when you have a "navigator" on board.

Yeah, I'll let my "navigator" do it

Good news though.
