Just curious if the NAV is showing the altitude?

 

Yes, it can, when you touch your current location (the acura arrow) it shows altitude and lat and logetude

 

There are sevral way to check it..

U will see the white circle around the arrows(ur car location)
just push that location then it will tell the altitude.

or using the silver circle swich move around and click any position
that u wish to know the altitude.. then it will tell

i was driving out to vegas a couple weeks ago and was thinking how nice it would be if it showed the altitude.
time to go to vegas again!

 

you can also say, "display current location"

it only shows the elevation if there are enough gps satellites available
