Pretty sure that "recheck after xxx miles" is not just for After Market or new wheels. Though I saw that in the Owners Manual too - not sure, could be wrong.

Well the name of the company is *drum roll* "discount tire". I am very impressed so far with how they have handled this. They have already set me up with a rental, corporate has already called the body shop, and they have already sent out an insurance rep to look at the car.

Yep....and to NOT have you go ballistic with it and inform the public or a news agency that might take interest on a slow news day. Not surpising...same company installed directional snow tires going in the wrong direction on my car.
