so i got the headlight vinyl installed last nite at my other shop but yea i cant see shyt anymore. even with highbeam...its the 20% shade. iahd 35% but it seems a lil light so i went with the 20% looks great during the day, cant see anything at night..time for fog mod..haha anyone else with this brob?

I have them and they do reduce output, but I've had them on for soo long now that I can't remember how bright they used to be.

 

well depending on the car..we did and escalade which is a paint to do, and we did a subaru..time consuming and the material we use is very expensive..400 a roll wholes sal for 30 ft

Why is the material soo much more expensive than Rockblocker? The rockblocker hasn't shrunk or discolored over the past 18 months, so what makes your material cost more exactly? Or is it more the installation cost that adds on the cost?

 

well most cars are a b***h to do. so its time comsuming. i got the material from stickercity.com. its very thick. very durable

 

interesting, yeah I did my own in 30 minutes. Wasn't that bad, it was actually the first mod I did to my car. How thick is your material, I'm pretty sure rockblockers is 17mil

 

the TL is a really simple car to do compares to accords escalades, CTS, chargers ect

 

I did the dark Rock blocker but modified and I used the bulk and made my own pattern .. -$20.

 

Holy shit $300 is a ripoff. I got a full tails + sidemarkers set from rockblocker, $50 for both, only took me 30 minutes to install. They look perfect

 

once agaiin desert. TL's are very simple. they dont have major curves or anything.

I havent noticed a different with the RB i have had them for almost a year now.

I got some off ebay, $22 shipped!!!
they needed a little trimming but the TL is so easy you can take it on and off based on if your driving at day or night really it you wanted! It took me about 20 mins the first time and 5 every time after that, I'll take $150 to install them for anyone who likes me to!!!

I got sick of not being able to see when I had them on at night so I decided to go for an option that was the best of both worlds: painted headlights!!!

FYI if you still like the dark look of film, paint the inside and go back to the 35% it will have a much darker look!
