My TL is getting TOO much attention!!
Anyone else have this problem? And I don't mean this in a good way. I've gotten the blue lights the last two days I've driven my TL (6MT) to work. First time, well, let's just say the TL handles very, very well. Then, this morning as I pull out of work, I received a warning from one of South Carolina's finest for 62 in a 45. Its my fault on both accounts. I know. I don't need the lecture. I was definately speeding and I know I should know better. I've only had the car a little over a month and it has less than 800 miles on it. It just wants to go. Flat out. No, its not a torque V8 sports car. But I have to baby the pedal to keep it within the speed limits. I've driven this route for the last 9 years and haven't been pulled over once. I'm not really driving any faster than I normally did my previous daily driver (98 Ranger).
I've also had several people eyeballing me too... I know its a nice looking car, but its also like some people are just trying to start shit with me.
Now, this is by far the nicest automobile I've ever had and never had problems like this before.. Is it me? Or is it the TL? I bought this car because its classy, handles great and is a blast to drive. I love it. But is this how its going to be? Was I that much more low profile in my little green truck?
Ugh.
