My TL is coming in 2 days...this is what I've got waiting for it....
OK first off its :
Anthricite AT/5 w/camel interior w/Nav
currently negotiating price for this car AND the A-spec package.
1. I ordered a full detail kit from Adams Polishes w/some extras;
should be here on tuesday
(I know everyone loves Zaino, however I try to buy from people/companies that are reputable, have good customer service, and support the military, with discounts of course, especially since I am an active duty memeber who has been overseas many times these past five years doing what most hear about on the news) anyway Zaino was my first choice, but no discount so no sale. Adams was my second choice and this is what I ordered:
http://www.adamspolishes.com/index.cfm
I've read many wonderful reviews of his product and talking directly to him on the phone was a complete pleasure.
2. Next I called up John Estrada at a Tint of Class and after talking with him and rkilian's recommendation I will be driving up to fountain valley to get the TL tinted up as soon as I get the clear bra installed......
3. which kinda brings me to my last item/problem;
finding a local (North San Diego based) 3m Scotchgaurd film applier to get it all protected after I'm done with the detail.
So far my best option is to have Star Shield Armor from Irwindale, CA drive down to my place in North San Diego and apply it at my house. it will cost me....A kit (Hood & End Caps)
B kit (A kit plus Front Bumper & Side Mirrors)
C kit (A & B kits plus Cab Top, Door Pillars & Door Edge Guards)
C kit $384+tax
installation cost for this kit: C kit $200
for mobile the charge is a flat fee of $30.00 and anything out of a 20 mile radius is $1.50 per mile after 20 miles.
So that would be 584 plus driving costs.
I just really don't want to drive a long way away and get a rock chip in the process of the drive.
Am I missing something that you can think of, or might you have a line on a local clear bra installer in North San Diego or South Orange County?
and thanks for all the great info as well
