Hey everyone, well i'm going on 3 months now owning my 05 TL, and i have to say i love this car. Its a base model with 28k on it now, i bought it with 25 for 20k everything included. I've owned several cars in my young age, but so far this is by far the best. I don't have many plans for it because i want to keep my factory warranty void, and i plan on getting an extended warranty once its up. I'm going to tint the windows, put a K&N filter and maybe some cosmetic things....anyways LOVE THE CAR. thanks for the info as well, this is a great website. Only thing ive done manit. wise is get the tranny fluid changed because it was looking a little brown, other that than runs like a champ!!

another thing, does anyone know if that extended warranty from hondaacuraworld is worth it?

 

Nice bro, sorry to break it to you but if your car is 05 the factory warranty is gone. Its 50k miles OR 4 years, whichever comes first. My 05 expired in Nov. Or maybe yours was built in Dec? Anyways, I know you want to keep stock, but I would say get a CAI instead of the KN filter. Ipod integration is nice too, although I think all ipod setups have problems. I have USAspec and have constant skipping

Warranties go into effect the in-service date, or date sold. This car was brought bran-new in August of 2005. So i should still be good until august of 09 barring i don't go over 50k.
