My rant for the day...

So, I'm in the right-hand lane on the hwy doing about 60 mph when I come up on this old POS pick-up leaking oil (which I didn't notice right away). I get to about 2-3 car lengths behind him and notice that my windshield is getting oil sprayed on it. Of course, you can't get that shit off! I'm trying to get over to the left to pass him but I had to wait till three cars went by me. What a mess! I'll bet that SOB never gets pulled over either!

Ugh! I had that happen to me with some truck that was dripping tar and I didn't know it at the time. I got home (my TL was only 1 week old) and noticed little black spots of tar stuck on my windshield and random places around the front of the car, the hood and the side mirrors. I wasn't a happy camper!!

After I calmed down, I took out the Klasse AIO and got all of it off. It took HOURS!!! Then I sealed the whole car while I was at it. What a pain.

Hope you are able to remove yours easily. I still find specks on my windshield sometimes.

Actually, I downloaded the hi-res photo from acura.com and created a negative image from it. It does look pretty neat.

I've had this happen to me as well. Fortunately, there wasn't a whole lot of it on my car, but it did take some time to get the crap off.

Yeah - in Michigan a couple years ago there was a road that they had just redone and I got tar all over the lexus. Luckily the state paid to have the tar removed - but it took the guy hours to get it off.
