Is my new car covered under my insurance?

My Civic is covered by State Farm. I just bought a TL yesterday and since my State Farm agent doesn't work on Sundays, I can't get my TL onto the insurance plan.

Is my TL insured in any way? I want to drive it! I live in Illinois.

TIA

I'm sure they have a corporate call center. Call in, give them the VIN and the coverages you want and you should be good to go.

You shouldn't have to go through your local agent.

You are covered for a maximum of 30 days on any car that you drive. I also have Statefarm and that is what they told me.

No, the newly-bought car should be covered, so it's OK to drive it.

Most regular auto insurance policies cover a newly-purchased car for up to 30 days before the owner must formally notify the insurance company and purchase additional coverage. Most policies also cover cars that you borrow with permission of the owner or rent, too.

Check the insurance policy- it should address newly-bought cars under the "covered autos" section.

Yeah well the State Farm person already told me I'm covered for 30 days, just like rajunwild said.

I LOVE THE TL!
