Is my new car covered under my insurance?
My Civic is covered by State Farm. I just bought a TL yesterday and since my State Farm agent doesn't work on Sundays, I can't get my TL onto the insurance plan.
Is my TL insured in any way? I want to drive it! I live in Illinois.
TIA

I'm sure they have a corporate call center. Call in, give them the VIN and the coverages you want and you should be good to go.
You shouldn't have to go through your local agent.

state farm's website doesn't let you add a car?
fyi... geico lets you add a car in 1min...
ps. I'd wait till tomorrow to even pull the car off the dealer.. because you may drive good, but the next guy might not

Most regular auto insurance policies cover a newly-purchased car for up to 30 days before the owner must formally notify the insurance company and purchase additional coverage. Most policies also cover cars that you borrow with permission of the owner or rent, too.
Check the insurance policy- it should address newly-bought cars under the "covered autos" section.
