My last week with my TL :(

Yup!! my 39 month lease is up. 62,000 km and the car looks and drives great. Just like when it was new. I am sad to be parting with what has been the best car I have ever owned. I have not even had to do brakes yet. Still has 40% pads all around. As much as I would have liked to keep her, the monthly cost would interfere with my budget at this point. I went out and leased a 2008 Altima sl 4 cylinder. I did however get it to look like my TL in that I ordered white with Tan leather interior. The option package seems to be very similar to the TL's less the navigation. $475 a month tax in for 4 years with a 4 year warranty. I will save close to $300.00 a month over the TL. I never even test drove the Nissan or even got a brochure as I know it can't measure up to the TL. I just wish I could find someone who could buy out the lease as it is a damn good deal at $22,900 canadian with it being in such excellent shape. Navigation too!!! Sob I am a little depressed this week as I'm sure most of you can understand.

Withdrawal from a TL is tough, especially if you fall in love with it. I am still trying to get over my 2G TL withdrawal symptoms .

Good luck with the Nissan.

Sorry to hear you had to let the TL go, but I hope you enjoy your Altima!

62000 times 5 divided by 8 equals 38,750 miles.

I'm in the Toronto area (north) . I think you still have to pay pst & gst. plus whatever the dealership charges to release the car. Still a great value as I see them with far more mileage and wear going for 28,000

If I were 4 years older I would have gladly taken it off your hands.

Well I have now had this new 4 door Altima for 3 days and I have to tell you even though it is no TL, it isn't to bad. I leased the 4 cylinder with the cvt transmission and the upgraded sl package which pretty well has everything the TL had...almost. The leather drivers seat is way more comfortable than the TL's and feels like a plush leather sofa. Very nice and I hope it doesn't go saggy within a year or so. The drivers seat has power the passenger doesn't...so who cares about passengers anyhow..lol No memory settings and that is a little discouraging. The car has the push button start and you never need to take the keyfob out of your pocket...that is a great improvement for vehicles and hopefully the new TL's will have something similar. Now I was pleasantly surprised about driving on the highway... I decided to see how this large 4 cylinder car would accelerate and I was dumbfounded. This baby has spunk and from 100km to 140 it sped up with amazing torque... of course it doesn't have nearly the same suspension as the TL and I did experience quite a bit of body movement which I will blame on the cheap continental tires it came with. The Bluetooth works very similarly to the TL's and the stereo (Bose) aint bad although you can't put dvd audio cd's in the player as it can't read them.... I guess they are useless now.
So, as much as I will miss the TL this Altima is not to bad and best of all it runs on regular gas and I now have close to 200km on her and the gas guage has just dipped below 3/4. Now I have to wait to see if my insurance is going up or down... what do you think it will do, I have a pretty good guess they will somehow justify it going up. lol

why not buy out of the lease and keep the TL? Your payments would be less than what your paying monthly for the altima.
