Looks good. How difficult was it to get to the headlight bulbs without removing the headlights?

It wasn't that hard. Just had to remove a black plastic cap covering the bulbs. the caps have a screw on it just feel for it and unscrew it with a short screwdriver.

haha yeah i gotta clean that bumper, freaking 3M clear bra

Thanks JDM. I've read through the forums that removing bumper makes the HID fog install a lot easier and smoother. Took me 10 mins to take off and 5 mins to put back on.
I also had to replace the FUSE of the fog lights in the fuse box.

the 10 amp was blowing up. i popped in a 20 amp and it worked fine. Not sure if its safe but it hasn't caused any problems yet.

OP...read this thread: https://acurazine.com/forums/3g-tl-2004-2008-93/dash-harness-fried-my-type-s-827505/

Doubling fuses when they are blowing is a major issue and should not be done IMO

a relay harness is no more than 10 bucks and offers peace of mind, and is easy to install. I'd do it.

Be careful using non OEM bulbs.. they have been known to get too hot and burn the chrome bowl of your projector and over time you will have hotspots.

Definitely buy the relay man. I used the same kit.

Regarding the chrome, that's what JnC said as well. I have it in my upper fog right now. I only used the 35 watts but suspect that it's hotter than the OEM bulbs.

did you really get a 55Watt Kit? If yes, monitor the housing and make sure you don't melt them!

keeping the 55 watt would definitely not solve your problem.

Sorry to hear!

This doesn't surprise me to see this happen. I've been told by Matt from TRS that our projectors would be able to support 55w systems, take your 55w ballasts, replace the OEM ones and buy some 55W hid bulbs for your projectors.
