Hazard Lights Switch Lighted?

Can somebody check their car to see if the hazard switch is lighted when the car is running, when the dash lights are on or is it ever lighted? Mine is always dark & can't recall if it was ever lighted.
Thanks,
John in Atlanta

There are two bulbs in this unit---one for the "PASSENGER AIRBAG" light and one for the Hazard triangle button. There is also an LED which illuminates the "PASSENGER AIRBAG" warning indicator on some models. With the exception of the latter, the lights illuminate only when the lights are turned on.

Thanks for the quick response guys! I managed to get the assembly apart, and I have 2 bulbs in this unit.

1 has a blue backing...
1 has a brown backing, and their appears to be a blue cap on top of the bulb.

Does anyone have part numbers for these 2 bulbs?

Where is the best place to buy these bulb replacements?

My passenger airbag bulb was working, but I must have broken it when trying to get the assembly apart.

Any recommendations would be great! Can these bulbs be purchased at Honda?

Thanks much!

Jeff

Thanks much! I will call Honda in the AM to see if they have them in stock. I wasn't sure if I had to get them at Acura, or if Honda would also carry them.

Any idea what these bulbs go for at the dealer?

Thanks much!

I'm from Canada so I pay $10 for each bulb. I think it's like $5 each in US?

Honda can order any Acura part number for you too (at least mine does). I get my Acura parts from my Honda since my nearest Acura dealer is 45 minutes away.

They most likely won't have the bulb in stock. They'll have to special order it. Usually shows up the next day of ordering, though so it's quick.

If you have multiple bulbs that are out, buy them online.
