Hey Experienced TL'ers,

After 2 months in my 2006 RRP w/Navi, I've picked up my first scratch, maybe an 1-1/2" long, kinda light, but I can see it!! . And I also have a few black marks on the frontal area, not sure what or where they came from.

But what's the best stuff for getting rid of these annoying blemishes please??....I know apart from some elbow grease!!

I easily buff out light scratches off my car with any polish or wax paste and a good ol' 100% cotton rag. Some of the worst ones out there ( Turtle Wax etc. ) seem to remove pretty good scratches easy. As far as the black marks...if they are on the bumper it could mean your paint has chipped off and that's pretty hard if not impossible to touch up w/o repainting the entire bumper.

 

Give Meguire's Scratch-X a consideration as well.
