Those of you in NY, Georgia, and parts of Florida might have seen the ad on TV.

Hey, I don't know if this will help but my father in law taught my wife and I a sweet trick when she ended up buying a car that just REEKED from the previous (smoker) owner (I was trying to get her to pick another vehicle... but she just HAD to have that one).
Actually (side note... sorry... but that ended up being a great thing for me in the long run... cause that very vehicle broke down last month... we ended up buying her a new honda civic... which then gave me the 'new car' bug and I ended up looking at the Civic Hybrid, you'd be amazed at the power it has- but zero comfort... then moved on to the Honda Accords... which lead to the Acura TSX.. and now I'm gonna get a TL in the next couple of weeks)... I just love it when it all works out!
anyway, I digress...
What he told us was that if we put a small tin (like an Altoids can or something) of white vinegar in the ash tray it would completely take the smell out. We were skeptical, but he sounded like he knew what he was talking about so we tried it.
It took about ten days (and we had to change the vinegar about half way) but damned if that didn't get every bit of the smell out! For a little while we just thought the vinegar smell would replace the smoke... but it went away very quickly after the tin was removed.
If you've got the cash, (like someone else posted) an ionizer or something could work too... but for budget-smell-relief-solution I'm convinced vinegar is the way to go!
OK.. I can tell by my rambling- it's time to go to bed... no more posting tonight. I do look forward to finding out what the deal was with your gig... keep us posted!

Well, today i wanted my dad to come to the car to smell it. He has an amazing sense of smell. He is convinced its tomatos and that is possible because my grandmother makes sauce and my mom brings it home and some may have spilled. Well Acura will take it tuesday to look at and clean. (And fix my rattling passager seat)
Ill get back to you.
My dad was like ewww that smells bad.

Well, i was unable to go to acura that day and canceled. The smell has gone away almost completely for no reason that i can think of other than me putting baking soda in the car. So all who tried to help thanks. NOw to make another post to see whats wrong with something else.
